It is rather one of their worst. Here Artifex Mundi is the publisher only, the developer unfortunately made a game that is just weak. The story would have been ok, if not for inconsistencies between the story itself and the riddles, which btw. were stupid. Riddles were not based on ANY logic, as well as were terribly repetitive. Not only that, but there were some problems with the game mechanic - not everytime you clicked on an item game has recognised that or it did so later. Do not recommend. Find game where Artifex Mundi is the developer and publisher.. Definitely the worst Artifex Mundi game i've played, didn't realise they were only the publisher when i played it. Almost all the puzzles were either "click this sequence" or "guess this sequence by trial and error". There was one picross puzzle which would have been alright but you weren't allowed to start it until the answer was pinned to the puzzle rendering the puzzle completely pointless.. Abysmal! Don't even buy it at a discount.Bad character design, ridiculous puzzles, cringeworthy story, cheesy voice-acting. Devs should pay YOU for playing this abomination.. Noir + artifex mundi should I tell more? 8/10. Some of the is on me, I should have looked into what a hidden object game was more thoroughly. I just assumed it was a modern term for old school point and click adventure. This is not that :) The puzzles were way too easy, many of the mini games felt like pointless time wasters. Often the directions were awful.Voice acting is pretty bad, story was meh and I completed it in 4 hours. Ugh... Good crime story, girl loves bad boys and also good PI, bad guy kills girl, PI seeks out revenge.Cut scenes were good.Voice acting was rather good, maybe a bit too "poshy" English, doesn't feel American.No irritating puzzles, all are doable.Easy collectables.No overdose of hidden object puzzles.Worth my bucks !. one of the most disapointing artifex mundi games i have ever played...pros.good graphics ok sound trackscons. very cheesy boring storymega easy and repetitive bad voice actingshort 2:19 for the main story and 26 mins for the bonus storyoverall i do not recommend this game. i have played worse HOGs but still, dont even get it on a discount. get it only from a very very cheap bundle. otherwise stay away. 2/10. Not one of the best Artifex Mundi published HOG's, but it's okay. Pretty good number of decent hidden object scenes and a variety of (mostly quite easy) minigames. The story in this one is not as nonsensical as the typical fantasy-based HOG, but the game instead ups the nonsense quite a bit with the bizarre range of accents. Some of the characters talk like New York or Chicago mobsters, others have standard American accents, one guy sounds like he thinks he's in a western, and then -- for no apparent reason -- half the characters are British. It's not because they hired a group of English voice actors to go along with the Americans. The main character uses a bad, obviously fake English accent. Who told the voice actor to talk with a fake Brtish accent and for what possible reason? And why do some of the other characters use ridiculous over-the-top fake cockney accents? It doesn't make any sense.
